New 15 Book Set With Teaching Resources
We are excited to announce our new 15 Book Set, featuring a mix of fiction and nonfiction titles from our Language Lizard Premium Collection. This set is perfect for English language learners of all ages and a great way to build your bilingual library!
Each book in the set comes with our free teaching resources, including comprehensive lesson plans, audio recordings, and fun, printable activities to further enhance learning!
The 15 Book Set includes our most popular titles, including our Multicultural Idioms Set, Living in Harmony Set, and Habitat Series, as well as additional titles to round out the mix. It is now available in English only and in Arabic, Burmese, Chinese Simplified, French, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, and Vietnamese.
Free Teaching Resources
We offer free teaching resources for many of our books, including our Language Lizard Premium Collection. These resources engage readers further on their learning journey and range from lesson plans to printable worksheets, audio, and video. You can find all of our teaching resources here, and check back often as we continue to add new resources to many of our books.
New Languages
We continue to grow our list of languages and have recently added Khmer and Mongolian.
Our Khmer book selection includes The Three Little Howlers and The Three Little Sun Bears. Our Mongolian language selection includes our Living in Harmony set: Be Kind, We Can All Be Friends, and Who Are We?
Expanded Language Selection
Our Habitat Series now boasts 19 languages. It is available in Arabic, Burmese, Chinese Simplified and Traditional, Dari, English only, Farsi, French, Haitian Creole, Karen (Sgaw), Nepali, Pashto, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. Titles include Coral Reefs, Deserts, and Tropical Rainforests.
New to our Idiom Series are Dari, Pashto, Portuguese, Russian, Swahili, and Ukrainian for a total of 16 languages. We have also added some new teaching resources for this series, including the Heard It Through The Grapevine “get to know you” activity reviewed in our previous post, which complements our Fresh As A Daisy: English Nature Idioms. The other titles in the series include Icing on the Cake, The Lion’s Share, and With Flying Colors.
We have added Somali as the newest language selection to The Three Little Sun Bears and The Three Little Howlers, making both books available in 20 languages.
Book Set for the Older Language Learner
Our Book Set for the Older Language Learner will benefit older English language learners. This picture book set offers more complex content and a higher text level while offering engaging illustrations to assist comprehension and provide visual support. These mid-level stories have themes appropriate for upper elementary/middle school students.
